There are times when I just want to shout it from the rooftops about the things I love. I don't like to tell you guys about products unless they really are something I would recommend to you. I am being 100% honest with you that I have received some products for free but really didn't like them. You know what I do? I apologize to my contact and say you know what? It wasn't my favorite; I've decided not to write about it. So now that I have told you that, I can also tell you honestly that there are products I have received that I genuinely do love. Since I hadn't experienced them before, I thought it was worth sharing for you guys to possibly experience them as well. When I decide to share, I will call them Prim and Propah picks. :-)
Studio Gear Cosmetics CC Cream- I am sure you would assume that I have tried ALL sorts of makeup and beauty products... and you would be correct. I am not always thrilled with the things I am given or even the things I purchased, which as you would assume is more upsetting. The Studio Gear Cosmetics CC (Color Correcting) Cream has renewed my faith in finding new makeup that impresses me. This CC cream is an all in one moisturizer, primer, concealer and protector. It's tinted, which can sometimes be a hinderance but not in this instance. The cream blends right into the skin, gives my face a flawless feel and is perfect on it's own. On a side note, Studio Gear has a Fresh Face Challenge going on right now, where you can win some of this awesome cream as well as some of their great brushes. *Get 10% off your Studio Gear Cosmetics purchase with code: PRIM13
Perlier Refreshing Crackling Ice Body Water- What an interesting product. It's advertised as a"freezing" energy that instantly cools down your skin on a Hot Summer day. It certainly comes out cold and crackling, so their word is good on this one. On a hot day, the last thing I want to do is slather on any type of product that will leave me feeling goopy and smelling of Vanilla. What I liked most about this Propah Product? It's delicious lemony smell and skin softening effects... it truly is refreshing! *Use iFabbo5 for $5 off your first Perlier on HSN.com purchase.
Listerine® Pocketpaks- For real, the man has been trying to convince me that Listerine is the best thing for my oral care literally since we started dating. I have always felt that Listerine was not curiously strong like Altoids but really very super strong, to the point where I was a whiny baby about it. Then Listerine was like, hey try these pocketpaks
because your breath will thank you, an you know what? They were right.
Talk about a much more ladylike way of fresh breath than chomping on a piece of gum. It dissolves in like 3 seconds and your breath is fresh, fresh, fresh and supposedly they kill 99% of bad breath germies. Love the pocketpaks... love them. And yes, I might be late to the party on these!
Philip Kingsley Flaky Itchy Scalp Toner- OK so it's a little embarrassing that I am admitting to you right now that I may suffer from a flaky, somewhat itchy scalp... but that being said, I can get over the embarrassment long enough to tell you about this toner in the hopes of reaching someone else who suffers from dry scalp, boo hisss. I think I have finally found something that helps! For real, I use anti dandruff shampoo and have tried all manner of scalp treatments with varying degrees of success and failure but the Philip Kingsley Flaky Itchy really helps. It's a liquid toner, not that much different than what you might put on your face. It's an anti-microbial and anti-flaking formula that you rub it into your scalp after a good wash, styling hair as usual... and then I don't scratch my head for awhile. It's a really beautiful thing.
Kiss My Face Moisture Shaves- I think my brain has been trained to think only of shaving cream, the foaming kind, as the only thing appropriate for shaving. Well, I think the Kiss My Dace Moisture Shave, specifically in Patchouli Moisture has changed my mindset in regards to this. Dude, it's just like lotion, that you used to shave but I swear you get a closer shave and my skin, personally, did not have any time of rash or irritation. Plus, there are like a billion different scents and I do love good variety. The man can even appreciate the unscented kind. It's overall a great product line.
* Some of these products were received gratis but I would not include them in a product roundup if I didn't think they were worthy. As always, opinions are 100% my own.
The CC cream and Ice Body water have definitely caught my attention, I may just pick one up!
