I have had one of those weeks where it just goes by in a whirl! I was traveling for work earlier this week, did an overnight installation (ugh) and then traveled back only to have more unpacking to do, class then here I am, wondering where my week went! I have had blog posts pending just haven't put the finishing touches on them as of yet so in the meantime, I thought I would cover one of my more favorite topics, KITTENS. For the range of moods/situations I have had this week, I thought I would highlight kittens that I think have represented said moods/situations/fictional situations. Don't you think that is an interesting idea? haha and yes, I have included pictures of said kittens. KITTENS!
*Note: For the sake of this article, as with all cat related posts on Prim and Propah, when I refer to kittens, I refer to all
manner of cat. Kittens that are young, kittens that are big, kittens
that eat macaroni and kittens that are sometimes referred to as "wild"
cats.
The Jazz Hand Kitten: You see my friends, the jazz hand kitten is how I act when I am nervous, want to impress and have nothing to offer but a quirky, if somewhat weird, reaction to an uncomfortable situation. It's all like "Hey you guys, I am moving my hands and surprising you with my oddness, so much so that you don't pay attention to the business at hand... JAZZ HANDS!" Hey, if it works!
Sneaky Kitten: You know when you are trying to pull a fast one over, let's say, you significant other, and you just feel sneaky? Like for instance, you might have bought a couple of pairs of sunglasses at a VA_ULT sale and when he asked "Are those new?", you sort of pause and say "well, what do you mean by new?". That is how a sneaky kitten acts... mostly harmless, but slightly sneaky... and always cute.
Nurturing Kitten: I am not always the most supportive, well I know I strive to be, but it doesn't always work itself out that way. In light of recent events in my Boston area, I have been trying to reach out with comfort and care to those I love, as well as support my fellow man/woman in any way that can. Whether it's coverage or spreading the word, I have been aiming to be a nurturing kitten in any way possible.
Mischievous Kitten: Personally, I would never waste toilet paper now that I am an adult and have to buy it on my own... but if I were a young kitten again, I might just take some of the 'rents two-ply and paint the town red, err white, err paper it? Eh, I don't know. At this stage in life, a more mischievous kitten of my status, might perhaps, hide in the dark in your bedroom, call for the dog to come in, then jump out of nowhere to scare the living daylights out of him. This is a tried and true tactic if you are interested in pranking your canine.
Vacant Kitten: Are you ever so friggin' tired, that your eyes glaze over, your emotions shut down and you stare at repeats of the Real Housewives of Orange County, with no regard for any sort of human interaction? Yeah, me neither... but if I had been that tired, I think vacant kitten would represent me well. Lost in thought? Or not a thought in that head? You'll never know...
Do any of these kittens speak to you? Would you say they had different attitudes than I assigned to them?
The kitten that speaks to me is Lil' Bub - she just understands my heart.
