One Good Deed

So when I was in New York for Fashion Week, as you can all remember, I won tickets to see the Nanette Lepore show. I won two tickets and well, there is only one of me. My good friend who lives in NY couldn't get out of a meeting in order to come with me so I took to Twitter. I put it out there that anyone who was in the area and wanted to come, hey just let me know. Nanette Lepore replied to my tweet and one of her followers tweeted me that she wanted the ticket desperately. We arranged a meeting place and time and so we both got to see the show. It was a win-win. The ticket didn't go to waste and a huge NL fan got to see her show. Alex (my show partner, follow her on twitter if you'd like @boguskyswife) asked me for my address because she wanted to send me a little something). I thought, that's lovely, I heart Thank You notes especially because it means you were thoughtful enough to spend the time to write it out.

Fast forward a couple of weeks and I open a thank you note from Alex and I have got what? A Coach gift card. I couldn't believe my eyes! The man was like "Can't we translate that into something that can benefit the both of us?" to which I replied with simply a scowl. OMG, I of course took to Twitter to thank Alex and it turns out she was as over the moon as I was to see the show, so much so I get to pick out something from Coach. I really think she shouldn't have but I am certainly very happy that she did... so do you want to know what I bought?

that is ah maze ing!!! you are such a good person that does many good deeds I'm sure and this one good deed definitely did not go unnoticed! how friggin awesome and super sweet of Alex.
