It's not always about the looks coming down the runway, it's about what people are wearing to the shows and after parties. With about half of Fashion Week down and another half to go, I have some fave looks and unfortunately some not so favorite looks.
From the Alexander Wang afterparty: Christina Ricci and Amanda Hearst

Christina is a NO... I am pretty sure it is because of the shoes... while I am not hugely fond of the tight fitting dress on her, I feel that the shoes are what offend me most. Being that she is petite, she should really wear heels that don't cut her legs off at the calves. And the color is wrong. I would have much rather seen a pair of nude pumps or an earth tone. Amanda Hearst is a YES...Loving the print. Do you agree?

Love Loving the looks on Anne V and Izabel Goulart. They not only compliment eachother in a simple color pallete (well no color at all) but the structure of both dresses are classic and classy, not a bit gaudy. Caroline Sieber with that sweet and small little frame, dresses it in sheer sequins... what is right with this dress? I fear nothing, except that it was for sure adventurous. Ick.

I love Malin Ackerman's totally simple but yet totally awesome look from the Rag and Bone show. Nude booties and a Creme dress is the epitome of simplicity yet effective nonetheless. As for Rachel Roy... you know I love her with all my heart but I just don't understand her outfit here. The pants are way too silk pajama-y and the fluffy fur like coat is just too much for me. This look needed a bit of editing and could have been something up to her usual standards.

Where Caroline Sieber really did not dress to impress me earlier, I love this shirt dress and sandal combo. With great accessories like the matching wrist cuffs and great belt, this look if effortless while also being a bit edgy. Alexa Chung always surprises me, most of the time in a good way. I love her vintage feel dress and am SO in love with her shoes, which make this ensemble if you ask me. Both YES!
What do you think? Do you think I have an eye or do you disagree with my opinions?
what a great post, sounds like you are having a fashionista of a time! Totally agree with you YES and No's. What is with Caroline Sieber sandals in the last pic? It looks like her toes are totally hanging over and walking on the ground. odd.
