With the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk happening this coming Sunday, I am reminded that I was remiss in thanking all the wonderful people, places and brands that helped to make our Harpoon Fundraiser last month, a huge success. We had an amazing time at
Harpoon Brewery, tasting all of their old favorites and Fall treats (
umm hello cider all night long) while also raffling off some amazing items all to benefit the Boston Bloggers Jimmy Fund Walk team. We raised over $1000 dollars and our team met it's fundraising goal, so it was an amazing night!

- We have to thank Harpoon for hosting our event. They truly were an amazing team to work with from our event planner, Elisa to our fantastic bartenders that night!
- Bakers' Best Catering brought their A-Game with tons of healthy and yummy treats for us to snack on as well as some delish cookies in the event gift bags! We really, really can't recommend them enough, The team over there was extremely invested in seeing us succeed!
- Our raffle items were PHENOMENAL and all donated by some amazing businesses. Thanks to Stephie's in Southie, Craigie on Main, Kirkland Tap and Trotter and Davio's Chestnut Hill for the delish gift certificates. Thesis Beauty, Skoah Boston, Seaweed Bath Company, Salon Capri and 21 Drops offered some great beauty items for the healthy eco city girls on site! Tablelist, The Garment District, Paint Nite Boston, the BCAE and Coolidge Corner Theater wanted to bring some eclectic flair to the event offering guests the opportunity to paint, shop, learn and take in a local movie!
- A special shout out to the local makers who donated their creations to a "Local Handmade" basket to be raffled off! Extras by Alaina, Amanda Laurel Atkins Art, Salem Style, Holly Nichols Illustration, Bash Studio's Everyday Napkin, Linkouture and Posh and Prep! + the tasty liquid donation from the Swartz family, who if you didn't know, are like the modern day Kennedy's! ;-)
- Our gift bags were full of love donated by the following giving peeps: Seaweed Bath Company, The Garment District, Bakers' Best Catering, 21 Drops, Duchess Newton, Tom's of Maine, Ku De Ta, The Cottage Chestnut Hill and the Jimmy Fund!
- All photos are by the amazingly sweet Kelly Pfeister. Not only was she as sweet as they come, she also made me feel encouraged about people willing to help through service. I am so happy to have met her and am looking forward to tapping her for collaborations in the future!
- And a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came out to help us raise money for an amazing cause! We are super excited to take part in a walk that raises money and saves lives.
