Grab some mason jars, decorate them and build a sweet sewing kit. Sewing scissors from the Gingher family are always a good choice and add some Sewing Books so your lucky pal can start teaching themselves or brushing up on their skillz! Knitting is one of my new frontiers so I am excited when others want to try their hand(s) at it. This is such an easy gift. Grab some Yarns from Lion Brand (my personal faves), some knitting needles and of course some how to books for effect! Painting is another great creative outlet that anyone can get into. Whether they're just starting or want to move from acrylics to watercolors, you can always help them out by getting some new brushes, a pallet and some paint of their choice. Add a book, obvi. What craft would you like the gift of this year?
those little fabric packages are lovely! I cannot sew to save me life, but I think I might like to get slightly more craftly this year. Maybe something along the lines of small furniture makeovers?
ReplyDeleteWell furniture is an undertaking sometimes but its super easy to add a new coat of paint to something. Let me know what you end up doing!
ReplyDeleteThese are so great! I think my husband would love that paint brush holder!

I love getting (and giving) useful presents!
ReplyDeleteLove this!! My 2015 goal is to learn how to knit! (everyone already thinks I do, so I figured I would learn) I’m definitely going to pick up a few books for inspiration :) Hope you and your family are having a great holiday season.
