By combining my powers of thrifty goodness with my expertise in hot gluing without burning myself (for the most part), I came up with a couple quick ways to spice up my dining room table without going overboard.
I grabbed some black netting, roses and plastic spiders from Dollar Tree, whipped out the hot glue gun and worked it all onto an extra mason jar I had in the house to make a spooky yet pretty, Gothic vase. I think the play on living beautiful flowers against the dark Halloween decor is a neat contrast, don't you think? Total cost $3.00
What Halloween table scape wouldn't be complete without a creepy skull at it's center? I grabbed this one for $1 and added some spidery floral goodness to it, giving it almost a "Day of the Dead" feel. If this decor didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, I knew I didn't pay a ton of money to try to make a go of it but I am actually quite pleased with how this decor on the cheap turned out. What do you think?
