I will say that when I first opened the palette, I was left a little confused by the directions. I am no makeup artist by any stretch of the imagination; I once took a makeup application lesson so I had to try and remember any of the useful tips that I had gleaned from that session. Of course, it took a little playing around for me to be able to master what look I thought was my perfect fit for holiday. In the end, I was really pleased with the color palette and the instructions included right inside the palette itself, so I won't need to fumble through a refresher if I lost the directions. I used this palette not only for a blogger event that I attended, in the dimness of a Boston bar but I also plan on using a slightly lighter version of that makeup for our family's Christmas even dinner tomorrow night!
This set retails for $40 but is now on sale for $25, lucky you! Also, if you use the code SGHOLIDAY, you can receive an extra 10% off so that is one sweet deal!
Do you have favorite makeup for the holidays?
*I received this Studio Gear Cosmetics product for free to try. All opinions are 100% my own, no matter what.
I got the palette as well and LOVED the colors!
