I am sure if you follow me at all on Instagram, you have seen me post pictures of my handbags from the course I am taking, in a variety of different phases, from start to finish. I am just now going to put this out there... I think I have found my direction. I am enjoying this course immensely and am learning so quickly by actually putting these bags together with my instructor, a seasoned handbag veteran. There is also something to be said about finishing a handbag, with fixings, to make you feel really accomplished... I am talking so accomplished that I don't even complain to my husband about Red Sox traffic... that means I am really enjoying myself ;-)
I can't wait to share with you the journey that I am going to embark on, and don't surprised if I ask for your opinions once in awhile. From adding feet to a structured tote to the clutch I am currently working on, I can't wait to possibly, maybe with a little hard work, take this handbag design thing in a new and exciting Prim and Propah direction!
Have you ever just felt the need to change direction?
The results are lovely and you can see the hard work and quality that goes into them. Looking forward to seeing your creations.

ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanine! It's somewhat time consuming at this juncture (because I am new to it) but I am going to try to bust a few totes and baguettes this weekend!
