Enter eShakti, which just happens to such an amazing concept. Here's the deal: You go onto eShakti.com and you choose the item of clothing you want to order. Theeeeeen, you can alter it before it ships to you. Are you a shorty like me? Well, then get your dress hemmed accordingly. Do you like long sleeves instead of sleeveless? Well, add some sleeves sistah! Where else can you get your clothes customized before you actually get them? All styles come in all sizes 0-36W, with customization. Seems to me like eShakti has hit a wide demographic that most retailers struggle with hitting.
eShakti gave me the opportunity to try out the process myself, so of course I was game. I am a lover of dresses since they are so easy to pull an outfit around. eShakti has absolutely lovely dresses, a lot of which have a very vintage feel but classic so you can pull it off all modern day stylie. I leaned toward this printed, sleeveless dress. It was the print that got me. I imagined it being inspired by the 80's but clean and modern enough to not look chintzy. Add that sassy collar and I was smitten. When going to order it, I was given the option of putting in my size as well as my height, and also the choice of dress length ( or where I want the dress to fall). I chose a work appropriate length just so I could keep this in a steady rotation. It has a lower cut but I plan to wear a cami under it under those circumstances. Here take a look:

I am a big fan! I just ordered a shirt this week because they have a 25% off sale right now!
ReplyDeleteI've tried eShakti, and I wasn't very impressed with the final product. I had to wait over a month to receive my dresses, and when they arrived the fit wasn't that great. I wasn't impressed with the materials either :( Love their styles, but at least for the first go-round I was less than impressed. :(
