Rodarte SS13 Channels My Inner Nerd Girl

Rodarte's Spring Summer 2013 isn't exactly what you would call a "Ready to Wear" line full of versatile pieces for the every woman... no, the ladies of Rodarte pretty much made a bee line for lots of nerd girls, which is not a bad thing at all... I sort of am one. Won't you please join me on this fashion journey to a tricked out Medieval/ Game of Thrones/ Lord of the Rings/ Rock 'n Roll world where the Mulleavy girls reign supreme.

Oh, I am a nerd, no doubt about it. I have been known to gift Lord of the Rings movie marathons to my loved ones (13 hours of extended cuts, people) and to take engagement pictures at comic book stores. I am not ashamed to share that I often times like things that would be considered intellectual and read books about fantastical things... but that doesn't mean I can't also love fashion. Enter Rodarte's Spring/Summer '13 line that debuted this week at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. From dragon embellishments and chain linked leggings to corsetted gowns and quilted leather, the Mulleavy girls really brought their fantasy A-game.
