Obsession Alert: Tracy Reese Picnic Basket

Imagine a warm Spring day where you and the man are ready to spend a romantical day together full of wine and laughter and (insert extracurricular activities here). Then imagine carrying all of your romantical accoutrements in this Tracy Reese picnic basket... yeah, obsession alert.
We hear all about designer collaborations with clothing  (Jason Wu for Target, Marni for H&M, etc and so on) but attention is really not given to small designer collabs like this one. Tracy Reese and Clos du Bois wines have teamed up to create the Clos du Bois Chic Picnique by Tracy Reese – a sophisticated twist on the traditional picnic basket.... and Mama loves it.

The basket, featuring Clos du Bois wines and wine accessories, is outfitted in one of Tracy Reese’s most iconic patterns (with matching napkins included!) The basket retails for $135.00 online at ClosduBois.com and is available now... Swooooooooon. I know that this seems pricey but if you factor in the wine ( which average about $15-$20 a bottle) and the designer details, then I guess you can justify spending the money, especially if you picnic often.

Anyway, I am crushing on this basket hardcore. I can imagine myself in a floral flowy dress with strappy sandal flats, my hair curled, makeup simple and sweet... OK, I need to stop building outfits around everything; it certainly gets me in trouble!

About the Clos du Bois Chic Picnique by Tracy Reese:

  2. I love it but I wish it were big enough to put a lunch for two in as well.
